The progress of AI is not imagined. It’s real! We are getting closer and closer to singularity and AGI. We’re now at the stage where we can “communicate” in our own language - or in any language or dialect. It's now the next phase we must continue to work on - teaching the machine reasoning and logic. And this is the unknown - what happens when we have singularity.
That being said, what DeepSeek showed is how powerful the present LLM (large language model) is.
Why is Canada letting too many Indians in Canada?
The value of DeepSeek? The Chinese is showing what they’ve been doing all the time. They teach us how to produce useful things cheaply
But to be fair, it is true that AI still needs billions in infrastructure to achieve AGI. . . just as we are doing to get quantum computing and fusion power to work. We have a way to go in all these fields and billions are needed.
Everybody should try DeepSeek and experience the “chain of thoughts” going. It’s amazing to witness. It’s literally reading the train of thought humans go through. And DeepSeek allows user intervention as if teaching to do “reinforce learning” for the machine.
Anybody believing in anything trump says is an idiot.
